2. I can't tell you what my 82 year old mother says about Bush
or the Secret Service will arrive at her door.

Tauzin was originally a Dem, and Breaux's best friend. He and his wife shared a duplex with the Breauxs when they Billy and John were in law school.

I'm about done with the United States. There has to be another solution.

Anyone for the Party of the Republic of Louisiana/Partie Republique Louisianne? How about a UN protectorate? Repurchase by France?

Remember, the last civil was was settled by force of arms. There was no settlement of the issue of law as to whether a body of people could succeed. The only guiding document is the Declaration of Independence, and that would seem to come down on the side of fuck the United States. If they don't want to help, can't they please just let us be?

PS to NOLA DU peeps: I will be in town for MG, and to close on a house, and have my daughter sit the BFHS exam. If you want to be on the email I will send to my list of fellow NOLA bloggers for drinks one night, drop me a line to wetbankguide AT i29 DOT net.
