"ex-Rep. Kweisi Mfume, a former National Association for the Advancement of Colored People president" --
"ex-Rep." If they were talking about a Republican -- or even a white Democratic -- "ex-Rep.," they would've called him "former Congressman."
:nuke: I despise the Times. I despise right-wing politics. I despise the Bush administration and the current Congress.
And my only hope for in the U.S. Senate isn't going to get through the primary. Cardin may have co-sponsored hate crimes legislation and ENDA, but he's come out against my right to marry. Mfume said he would've supported it.
Fuck.
