6. I'm still unclear on the specifics but here's what I know.
The MN State's Atty office got involved yesterday, as well as Gov. Pawlenty's office. About 200-300 people called the Gov. office between sunday and yesterday. The Moorhead Police Chief was also involved as well as the VFW of Fargo-Moorhead. A large counter-protest was being staged between the church and Phelps group. Sometime late yesterday Phelps decided to go to Ohio.

There's a short story on the WDAY website on it.

http://www.wday.com in their video section.

The Fargo-Forum says the peace protest had nothing to do with Phelps, HORSESHIT... it had everything to do with Phelps and in my mind from speaking with members of the Veterans groups yesterday it was not going to be pretty.

My thinking is the Police wouldn't guarantee their saftey and personally I sure wouldn't have, there were some hopping angry retired Marines here.... Phelps was stepping into a blue hornets nest this morning. I don't advocate violence of course, but I had my doubts there would be anything peaceful about today.
