3. We could retake the house this year
Remember, for each seat we win, the Repubs lose one, too.

The Minnesota for Dean folk (aka Democracy for Minnesota) have already targeted five leg races that are winnable by Democrats. Also, the Legacy Project (of the House DFL Caucus) has targeted several other weak Repubs that are ripe for defeat, too. The Kucinich folk have also discussed working for various leg candidates as well, although some may direct their energies toward the 1st Congressional district, where there's a very strong progressive candidate running against Gutknecht.

The DFL is taking advantage of the energized base and directing it toward retaking the state House. We really could do it this year!!!
