4. The student protests didn,t stop because of one avenue
It just became a matter of choosing the battle and battle gorund. More over knowing the turf.There was indeed a lot happening in those years-1970-73 and Nixon was known to be a very vindictive president.But thats not why those particular protests were canceled.

The concept of trying to stop nuclear submarines from deploying can be viewed as or compared to a act of terrorism -depending apon just how it is national security operatives-those of the state department will view it. Those unimpeachable ones,those that are always there.Those that may say adminstrations come and go -but we are here to stay.

That,s United State Law-a whole different ball game.
National security.

Those law students really did their homework back in those days.

The point here is that it remains the same reguards to national; security -rather there is a war going on that the country is actively involved in or not.
The submarine service is known as the silent secret service-it,s all about national security.
