Sorry Elad.

Since I was the only one I saw who used the term "calling you out," in response to an obvious troll last night, I must accept responsiblity where it is due. I have a few thousand posts (give or take) and I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've done that, and still have a finger left over to pick my nose. Two of them were last night, with that Joe character, and later by a guy whose very first post was a huge picture of a Bush rally, telling us to stop whining about Kerry because Bush really was just a stronger candidate, or whatever their line was.

Invariably when that happens, the thread immediately goes to shit anyway. How can you expect to have a discussion when THEY are allowed to dump on us but now we cannot respond? We'll be shutting down threads left and right. This policy seems to be an open door to the repubs to sign up and flame our candidates with impugnity, since there is no policy against THAT.

I'm not trying to pick a battle with the mods, but I think I contribute a lot here, and I think it is a bit odd that part of our new "message" is not to take anymore shit from the republicans telling us we just need to be more like them...and when we ARE tough, and we fight back against their bullshit, WE are threatened with lockouts.

I understand where you're coming from...I very nicely explained to one noob last night that the first few posts here can be tough, just like it is for any new person walking into a party full of strangers...if you start calling your new hosts idiots, you can't really expect to be offered a nice seat by the fire and a fresh cocktail.

Just my two cents. Again, sorry for my part in last night's commotion, but I do not think it was unwarranted.
