A theory: Maybe Kerry is less concerned about winning

this election than he is about bringing these criminals down. And, if so, I would suggest that it might better for us in the long term. Of course, the short term sucks for us - but realistically, "winning" now wouldn't be much better, IMHO (OK, a little better, just on the Supreme Court and regulatory agency appointments). But overturning the Ohio (or Florida) certification would be nothing but a guarantee of four years of hell - with the criminals still out there to make his every waking moment a nightmare of unrelenting attack. And in four years, the criminals would be free to do it all over again. Bring them down, and they - well, they won't be gone, but they'd have to go dormant for a while (like the fungus spores they are) - giving those of us who oppose them time to regroup.

Again, this is just a theory, I have no idea if it's really Kerry's "strategy." But if so, I can see some advantages (again) long term.
