39. Here's what I firmly believe::
John Kerry is straight with the American people.

He got into politics in the first place because he wanted to help make America better, not to make a big name for himself.

In fact, deciding to go into political life meant a sacrifice for him, because he had to accept the personal attacks that go with it when you stick your neck out. He also was well aware of what had happened to John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and Martin Luther King just a few years before.

He's smart and capable and would be a great president because he is deliberative, diplomatic, and dedicated. He's the polar opposite of Bush. He's hard-working, unselfish, caring.

I look at posts which slam Kerry as disloyal and smelling like trollery. If they are really Dems they should be supportive, not destructive. We shouldn't assume that we know everything that's going on!!

Whether it's in the White House or the Senate, I know he's still got our backs.
