There were two paid staff (I believe around $108,000/year + presumably additional costs for health insurance, social security, Medicare, workers' comp, etc - which generally costs 20-35% of salary, depending on the benefit package), office, website, legal (related to setting up the 501(c)(3) + filing suits), travel expenses, etc.
