First of all, let me state that while I think today's news is great, I think the investigation will prove that there was some low-level fraud and tampering and plenty of vote suppression but that W still comes out slightly ahead.
However, in the event that a Bush victory is truly in doubt and widespread evidence mounts that the count was rigged, we should be realistic. There's no way that Kerry will become President. Republicans control the Ohio machinery and Congress.
The best we can hope for is that if fraud is proven (and I'm not assuming ANYTHING) then there will be a loss of legitimacy and a cloud hanging over his presidency. De-legitimize him (not that he was in the first place).
