The Rally for the Republic in San Francisco tonight ROCKED

I don't know how many people fit in the Herbst Theatre, but it was packed. I'd say easily 500 people.

It was very inspiring and very encouraging. I wish I'd taken more notes (and taken some pictures!), but the best thing I heard there was this, from Emily Levy (as close a paraphrase as I can recall):

"I have some very exciting news for you: JOHN KERRY WON OHIO...John Kerry received more votes than any other candidate. And when I say he received more votes, I don't mean he WOULD have received them had voters not been disenfranchised. I mean he received more votes, period."

A handout with the results of her team's analysis of over 60% of the precincts in Ohio should be available on http://usvip.org (the link does not appear to be working yet).

DU was mentioned as being an integral part of the data collection and analysis in this fight. :)
