6. I can't wait to see how hard Dems fight to keep Social Security intact
The grassroots will raise a major ruckus, our Dems will hem and haw, except for a few. Finally someone will have the guts to stand up to the Repubs, then a few more Dem Senators will join that person and talk about how awful it is to see our Social Security jeopardized.

And then we'll all get steamrollered again.

I don't think the Dems will ever understand that they have to present a united front. What would have been the big deal for half of them to vote no to certify the Ohio electors? All the Repubs respect is strength. This compromising appeasement is bullshit. The Dems could have said, "No one will ever know whether bush won or not, because we won't have the chance to inspect the machines." But nooooooo, it turned out to be a mealy-mouthed patronization of bush.

There's my rant. x(
