7. A significant amount of confusion can be avoided just by
remembering who the audience is. DU is a progressive audience, the Kiwanis club is mixed.

This is a hard issue. I think every comment in the thread makes a good point/perspective. in the end the public conversation is best off if it is as Amaryllis writes, and the conversation among progressives needs to have the elements/issues nicknameless talks about
