11. It was Zig Zag Zell who recruited Majette
To run against Cynthia in 2002. Majette was his protegee, which is evidently why she thought she was entitled to his senate seat when he retired.

Majette didn't bother to ask the DEM party in Georgia what they thought of the senate idea after spending thousands just 2 years earlier to rob Cynthia of her congressional seat.
