One thing to consider, though, is that there is a LOT of overlap. Most of us belong to or are active in multiple groups, so in terms of numbers, consolidating may not give the overwhelming numbers you may be anticipating... and each group tends to specialize a bit. So in combining them, I think you would still have to segment or divide or delegate to have each do what they are best at. Such as: fundraising; research; activism; legal stuff. It's do-able. And when done, guess what we might have? A new, vital, viable political party, maybe?
