I do however have a BIG problem with fundie nut-jobs. One requires testing, hard data, facts and proof. The other requires nothing more than belief and self delusion. See if you can figure out which is which.
I'm probably the most outwardly atheistic person you'll find at DU and I have tremendous respect for science. Religion is static. Theists believe the same thing now as they did almost 2000 years ago. Science, on the other hand, is always changing, challenging itself to find the core truths and mysteries of the universe. Your statement is "fundamentally" wrong. ;)
