Kids having sexual play and experimentation within the same age group, regardless of gender or orientation, is not "pedophilia."

It's only when some creepy self-righteous older authority figure takes an inordinate interest in watching and controlling the proceedings that pedophilia comes in.

Getting "stuck"? GodDAMN, it's like your mom saying to you when you're six, "Keep making those faces and you'll get stuck that way."

(Well, seeing some of those sour-faced church daddies, maybe there is a grain of truth to that. :P That is certainly not how sexual orientation works, though.)
