http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/03/030606jewish.htmLeaders of the Conservative wing of Judaism reportedly will meet this week to consider dropping movement's ban on gays serving as rabbis and look at the possibility of supporting same-sex unions.
The New York Times reports that the issue will be discussed at a closed door meeting at an undisclosed site near Baltimore.
"This is a very difficult moment for the movement," Rabbi Joel H. Meyers told the Times.
Meyers is a nonvoting member of the law committee and executive vice president of the Rabbinical Assembly, which represents the movement's 1,600 rabbis worldwide.
