2. I think this is really unfair
It doesn't take into account what the administration has had to deal with in its first 100 days. The LGBT community has to see itself as part of the larger American community and take heart in the good things Obama has done for all Americans. I'm confident that as the Republicans become more of a minority (think 2010), Obama will be able to more aggressive pursue his social agenda, which includes one of the most pro-gay platforms in our history.
