How would you think you would sound back in the 1960's saying that? About the same as you saying you don't care about my civil rights now.

The majority probably wouldn't give a shit, but those that were affected would see it as life and death.

And history did not treat those who said such things in the 1960's kindly, and won't treat those who are indifferent to our rights now any better.
