1. When it comes to the poor in bankruptcy they can seldom afford
the lawyer needed. This means that you have only one alternative - default. For persons who are working this is not help because their paycheck can be garnered. For those with income from such things as Social Security they can protect their checks by asking to have them mailed directly to them or by going to the new Social Security debit card GoDirect. I know that they are supposed to be safe in any bank but that is not always true - if you owe money to that bank or if someone tries to garner your check it is still in danger. If someone garners your Social Security check you can go to legal aids and they will help you get it back but it will take time.

I am including this info to help any that find themselves in the same mess I am.
