I’ve been there a few times. Usually, their first response is to pile loads of nonsense on you and ask you to explain all of it (typically consisting of misinformation, lies, and general misunderstandings of science and history) - and if you can’t, they take that as evidence that their God exists.

I tend to avoid discussions with these types seeing as though they have a nonsensical/ deluded talking point available for almost any situation. Some of it’s quite subtle and requires some research to debunk - and even when you do, they just ignore what you’ve just said and move on to another point.

Answer: A growing amount of evidence is suggestive of the fact that flying reptiles have been known to be contemporaneous with humans before and since the Genesis Flood (~4,300-4,400 years ago).
The Creation Evidence Museum has sponsored expeditions to Papua New Guinea which have resulted in eyewitness night sightings of bioluminescent pterosaurs (see Isa.14:29 & 30:6), the most recent being in August 1994 and 1996.

Mankind did not evolve 4 million years ago on an Earth which is 4.5 billion years old in a universe which was "big-banged" into existence 18-20 billion years in the distant past. Jesus Christ, the Creator Incarnate, said He made mankind male and female in the beginning (Mark 10:6), and that when the heavens and the earth were commanded into being (Gen.1:1), they "stood up together" (Isa. 48:13) not billions of years apart !!
