...that the person is in touch with their blueprint, so to speak. It's not just that; it's much more but I can't recall it all now. I experience it often.
These are fascinating experiences! I want to hear more! Great thread idea.
I've never purposely tried to do a regression, although I've wanted to. I have had some spontaneous experiences, thought.
The most vivid past life flashes I've had are about the house I live in now, which is an old carriage house. The first one I had was before I even found the house. I had this flash only a couple months before buying it. I had been standing at my kitchen sink, finishing up the kitchen clean up, on a nice, bright summer afternoon. All of a sudden I had this vivid experience where I was walking through a stable (read carriage house?) and I could see my feet walking down the center. I recall in detail the boots I was wearing. Best of all was that I could feel and smell the horses in their stalls. I loved these horses--oh, how I loved them. I felt almost as one with them.
There is a mansion on this old estate that I now live on. The next flash that I had, some time later, was also extremely vivid. It was of ummm, ahem, shall we say a close encounter on the stairs.
About three or four years ago the mansion underwent an ownership chamge and the people who purchased it have become very close friends. I know that old mansion now like the back of my hand. It is very familiar; this whole place is.
In the last week, because the weather has been so warm, I have been planting more bulbs in my garden. I cover them with a mulch of straw. When I pick up the straw to put it over the beds, I inhale the scent and it just takes me away to another place and time. I cannot even describe how entranced I am when I sniff this. It brings back such emotions of love, happiness, and warmth and a feeling of oneness with the earth and the universe. Just complete and total happiness.
Quakerfriend, I do agree these experiences have something to do with recognizing others with whom we've had associations in other lives.
