17. Not all the memories are bad ones.
Most lives really are mundane ones, if you stop and think about it. Yes, people have times that they are hurt and afraid, but for the most part, I think that the events that leave impact in later lifetimes are probably the really shattering ones.

You remember the bad Doc in that previous life-and I'd say that level of betrayal probably would leave a pretty serious hurt on your psyche--ya know? My guess is that you had at least some good days in that lifetime--yet all that you remember thus far is the painful stuff.

My memories of those two lives before are similar--they were things that impacted deeply, and they are still hanging out there for me, evidently.

To be fair, past lives and how they impact me now (in this incarnation) is something that I spent some time working on at one point in my life. I would guess that, given the nature of my work at the time, I was probably gonna see the most negative stuff.

Somehow, scrubbing the skillet or making the beds just doesn't impact me enough to see that kind of stuff in past life memories. :)

Regards.

Laura
