I use the chart rectified by Vedic astrologer James Kelleher, after I spent a lot of time comparing it in US history and current events to the Sibley and other charts. It gives the US a later birthtime of 6:25pm. Kelleher also found some historical documentation backing up this late final signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The chart has 28 Sagittarius 35 on the ascendant, 21 Libra 24 on the Midheaven. This chart scored another point of credibility when it showed the theft of the presidental election with the solar eclipse of October 2004 directly on the midheaven. This indicated that the office of the presidency (Midheaven) would be either absconded with or fundamentally eclipsed in some way. Astrologers using the Sibley chart missed this, although astrological predictions are failing in many cases anyway because such deep level transformation is occuring that the same old rules no longer always apply.

The date of January 12, 2007 shows some interesting parallels with your dream. The conjunction of Pluto and Mars mentioned above is at 27Sag, nearly within a degree of the ascendant, and more ominously, it is nearly exact in aspect to natal Pluto and Moon. Pluto shows transformational processes of all kinds, and the Moon represents the people and the media. Tertiary progressions for the date also show a conjunction of violence-prone, uncontainable Mars and Uranus in opposition to the natal Moon! If nothing else, this indicates a waking up on the part of the media and therefore the people. Assets and banks are under attack as well (your dream?). In the Western chart, the Moon is in the house of finances and money, as well as public security and safety. In the vedic chart, it more clearly shows the media and the disruption of communication and transportation by virtue of its being in the third house.

Finally, the Moon rules Cancer, the sign of the country, and the indicator of the hoi-poloi as well as the people, as it contains the Sun and Jupiter--the powerful and the fatcats. In the Vedic chart, the Moon rules the house of death, as well as of hidden agendas, assets, and transformation.

We enter into a Moon-Venus-Moon period in the dasa sequence beginning January 2, 2007. Let me give a little background on what this means. The Moon period lasts 10 years, and it began in October 1998. Isn't that when the propaganda machine began to be cranked up with the accelleration of the real manipulation of the press? The Moon-Venus period begins in August 2006 and lasts until April 2008. Since January of 2006 we have been under Moon Ketu (south node), which would apply to a maximum blackout by the press since Ketu or the south node is in the 12th house from the moon, indicating the loss of reporting and the truth. When Venus bursts on the scene in August, not only will our enemies (7th house) be energized, but there will be a desire to communicate the suppressed truth, although it still may not be allowed. The gushing forth in your dream seems to coincide with the nature of these explosive transits and progressions involving Mars with Pluto and Uranus in aspect to the Moon.

I am glad you shared this dream. It contains much significant information for us all. I do not get the feeling that the death is nation-wide, but that several significant areas are affected. The fact that there is such a focus on the media in your dream shows me that this may be the main message, perhaps more so than just the deaths. I do also notice that January 12 is the birthday of two of our most popular and "potent" media icons, one of whom is assassinated in the dream: Rush Limbaugh and Howard Stern.

The dream does not surprise me, except it comes a bit earlier than I expected. I see major change happening starting later in 2007 and 2008. We leave the period of the Moon and go into that of Mars for seven years in 2008, and Pluto crosses the "correct" US ascendant in 2007 and 2008. Mars is in the sixth house and I hope and pray it means that the people rise up similarly to how they have done around labor movements in the past. This is as much a possibility as is war, although unfortunately, that may be accellerated as well under Mars.
