but IMO it does happen. Saw and hear things from a person that mutual friends - including one with no imagination to her - also saw and heard and like me at first dismissed because we didn't believe, it would be weird and scary to pay attention to the stuff coming out of that person. THAT was when I got serious about getting my empathy under control, learning self-protection and trying to figure out how to do a do it yourself distance exorcism to get that thing out of my neighborhood and the neighbor it had set up housekeeping in. It basically came down to calling upon Archangel Michael and any other beings able to take it away. Then checking in every week or so to make sure this person wasn't re-possessed since she was so full of holes in her energy.

Now some entities are stuck and really don't belong. I encountered something scary but not fully dark once that was a relief to have gone. Still don't know what it was just that it didn't belong stuck in my grandmother's basement and it was POed about it. Asked beings of light to take it to where ever it belonged and it was gone. :shrug: A few times I have bumped into souls that got lost and didn't cross over, probably dying in a traumatic way. for them I prepared myself calling in my guides & allies, grounding, etc. Then I asked the highest guides of the soul to join and offered Reiki to the guides to assist the soul. I did this so I wouldn't get caught in the soul's spiral of confusion/fear/etc. Also I didn't want the soul to possibly try to glom on to me as a source of comfort like the spirits w/Whoopie Goldberg in ghost. Finally I didn't want to force anything on the soul, just give the guides some closer-to earth plane healing energy to help the soul, if it chose to accept, get out of the spiral and choose where it wanted go. I am not expert, just did the best that I could when I stumbled across the situation and not knowing anyone who does spirit releasement to consult.
