8. I don't think it is necesarily fraud
My father has a farm that is not profitable and he works to subsidize his habbit. my father-in-law has a profitable cow/calf farm (no price subsidies, only disaster payments if horrible weather). He always keeps a close eye on his profits at the end of the year and spends any profit on equipment for the farm. He would rather show no profit but have better equipment.
