3. I didn't even remember that part back in '04!
Sen Kerry rounding up 3 Nobel Prize Winners to mobilize the scientists for his campaign. Article went on to mention how much the Kerry campaign was emphasizing science, and explicitly mentioned THK's work in these areas.

What really struck me, given the years of Monday-morning quarterbacking we've had to listen to, is how together and forward-looking JK's campaign sounded in this article.


I love me anybody who supports the scientists. :) It's probably a testament to how awful the media coverage of him really was, if this escaped me. I remember his convention speech where he made a reference to "I will have an administration that believes in science," but that's it.

Now this may sound silly, but... sometimes JK makes me think of Doctor Who. He's a little bit Jon Pertwee and a little bit Tom Baker. Especially Pertwee's polish and Baker's voice. :)
