When I weighed 140 people were telling me I was too skinny and that I needed to eat more. I was also in a size 8 at that weight.

Last year I gained 20 pounds (life crisis and too much Paxil) but I lost about half of it by the fall when I weaned myself off antidepressants. I hit a plateau and started back to the gym. I finally tried a Spinning class and loved it and started going regularly. I was feeling good although still on the weight plateau.

Around that time my dog got seriously sick and I rushed home every night to be with her. She died on Jan. 2nd so I have no excuse not to go back but the momentum is gone now. I have no idea what I weigh right now but my guess is I'm almost back at 160. yech.

I did resolve to get back into a size 8 this year though. I just don't feel good unless I'm fit and it's not a vanity thing.
