Once upon a time, there was a wise sage, experienced in the ways of the world, one whose talents lay in his fingers, shaping, sharpening and satirizing with (or was that satyrizing) words in a way seldom seen on this planet. Let's call him Doug.

Doug understood the world, nay, the universe in its peculiar bent way, and foretold that the best way to travel through it was with a healthy cushion of ale and nuts. Not to mention carrying a necessary towel with you.

Doug was perceptive enough to realize the elected leader of the free world was not the actual man in charge, but a figure head. A distraction. Someone intended and expected to take the public's attention and to hold it while the real secret powers that be continued with their nefarious scheming and profiteering.
