Has bush* said anything about the fires?

Gov. Rick Perry on Thursday toured the fire-ravaged small town hit hardest by the blazes that raced across Texas this week, meeting with residents and promising aid to help them rebuild.

The flames ripped across nearly 20,000 acres in the two states, and four deaths were reported, including one in Oklahoma. Many fires in Texas have been contained, but unseasonably dry, hot conditions continue.

He didn't mention any dollar figures, but he said he asked President Bush for a disaster declaration for the county.
Bush, who is spending this week at his Texas ranch, was briefed about the fires Thursday, according to White House spokesman Trent Duffy.

Perry asked for help. I have not seen reported any sign of a reply from bush*.
Maybe he's busy? Three day rule? Tuning the guitar?
