Oh well. Boneheaded choices like this are the reason he got slaughtered in the RI primary in the first place. He just hasn't been a very good politician. Many Democratic activists should learn from this experience and take that sort of thing into account.
Also, some Democratic activists need to learn to watch out for politicians who avoid directly answering questions. There is always a reason that they are being evasive.
