9. Wow he completely managed to leave out the parts about how race pogroms
and riots periodically destroyed whatever black middle class districts had managed to grow within American cities, and how blacks in the early 20th century moved from the no-jobs rural south to northern cities in order to GET WORK in factories, not welfare, and how blacks were the first to get fired in Depression Era plant closings, and how they sometimes even lost their jobs due to labor agitation against their hiring.
Newsflash for Freeptards: the ghettoization and impoverishment of urban blacks was a sociological catastrophe in the north long before the Great Society war to end poverty was even proposed. It followed, without a pause, the catastrophe caused by southern apartheid and impoverishment of rural blacks.
