Just when I thought it was safe to go back in the water... and I WAS ACTUALLY DEFENDING BUSH!

According to Reuters, during an interview with the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, President Bush claims that his best moment in office "was when I caught a 7.5 pound perch in my lake."

With so much talk about the worst things George W. Bush does as resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue -- authorizing domestic wiretapping without court oversight; launching a war against Iraq without any planning; trying to privatize Social Security, while giving massive tax-breaks to the ultra-rich; destroying the federal budget; to name a few -- Bush's best moment receives only scant attention.

As regular readers realize, I place high premium on Justice,
so let's go trolling for the truth on important issues in America...

like fishing!

While many claim Mr. pResident is an out and out liar that takes vacations
while majestic old cities drown in despair, newly released photographic evidence
shows both Bush and his father in New Orleans on the fateful day Katrina hit.

This very same evidence also disproves the "perch lie" put forth by Reuters.
Anyone can see that he is not holding up a perch. For reasons of national
security; the exact species of fish, like the nature of his secret visit to
storm-tossed New Orleans cannot be revealed at this juncture.

Further photographic evidence shows
that pResident Bush does not even exaggerate
when telling fish stories, much less lie outright!

(Figure A shows the actual size of the fish caught in New Orleans.)

(Figure B presents the size of a fish caught during an earlier trip with a close friend.)

With solid evidence finally putting these ugly rumors to rest, we can now address the art of trolling online.

While many here at DU present posts on how to spot and catch online trolls, the next few pointers will help even a novice catch REAL trophies -- catches that will make your family proud! First and foremost, NEVER call anyone a troll or freeper. Of course, as they bash away at Democratic hopefuls, like Kerry, offhanded remarks about Republican candidates that they obviously support are acceptable and often quite funny.

Also, posting certain pictures makes the point rather well:

Sure, you say, trolls are easy to spot on other people's OPs
but what will attract them to MY threads? It's easy, when using good bait!

Check with the pros. There is nothing that attracts trolls better
than an OP bashing FOX or ClearChannel -- a company responsible
for handing Bush his first million made in the private sector,
which now controls most of the radio in North America. Other
good baits include OPs supporting Air-America or ANY viable
Democratic candidate for president.

Once again, let me stress, EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN LANDING THESE CRITTERS!

Let's face it though, DU trolls are small fish in a small pond and you've been
promised pointers on catching real trophies.

Again, let's rely on experts:

Here's one organization worth mentioning:

Here's another:

Those three magic letters are a clue on catching the REALLY big ones!

Now batten down those hatches mates and let's set sail for deeper waters. Prize catches await us across the sea; far across the sea in the Gulf Region where websites feature foreign letters like these:

err, they won't download to photobucket and it's umm shut down tight as a drum-fish!

oops, looks like I got a bite already!
This is all ANY attempt I make to reach photobucket yields at this time:
