7. I thought about that yesterday, but not today

Not with Bush claiming he didn't even know about the port sale in the first place. This is the biggest indicator to me that this is not some sort of ingenious political scheme by the Republicans, but yet another giant clusterf--- by the White House, for which they will have to spend several weeks, if not months, in damage control.
