I was home sick with a terrible cold and pretty much watched CNN 24/7 the whole weekend and M/T. It was absolutely terrifying, thinking that those people were going to sit it out in the Superdome. It was like a horror movie. And that Jean Meserve report was harrowing. It was about how they kind of stopped reporting while the cameraman joined the rescue effort and tried to save people and they could hear them calling for help all over the place and it was so dark there was really nothing they could do.
