with Duct Tape and WD 40. Seriously, when in a hurry and without the needed repair items they are invaluable for just about anything. I go out and get what is needed and then wait to see when I need to repair my temporary fix. It is amazing how long these things work.
WD 40 works very well for taking burrs out of manes and tails, on dogs too.
