21. Hillary's Voting Record / Scorecard - ;-)
Edited on Sat Mar-04-06 08:34 AM by WePurrsevere
I don't agree with every vote she casts and even disagree with her on a few issues HOWEVER I also know that what is said is not always what is true so I went looking for an easy way to compare Hillary to others currently in office. (For those who have never held an office where their stance on issues is clear and backed up by actions all I can do is take them at their word and hope they'll walk the walk once in office.)

Anyway.... here's a couple of "Progressive" orgs scorecards/ratings on voting records I found while looking for info on Hillary being a DINO or not. Although they're what I would consider rather "subjective" depending on where they're coming from, when I played around and checked records of a variety they seem decent. Try comparing Hillary with Kerry, Kennedy or other potential Pres. candidates that are currently working as our representatives in DC: The Peace Majority's Ratings - Progressive Punch's Scorecard

Although I've found I like her more as a Senator then I thought I would, I don't think she'll run in '08 (although I also wouldn't be terribly surprised if she does). If she did run and got the nomination (which I don't think she would since the "Swift boaters" have done their job so well) I'd probably vote for her. Since I don't know who else will be running I'm not sure about the Primary... I'll decide on that when I hear what those actually running have to say. :)

I also agree with you about "not having 100% Liberal voting record" heck even Ted Kennedy, probably one of the more "Liberal" politicians in office doesn't vote 100% Liberal enough for some. Besides not all DUers are 100% what some consider to be "Liberal" either. From what I can see there's a very eclectic mix of Dems here (as well as some Libertarians and Greenies)... it's just that some folks seem to be more outspoken and zealous then others. B-)

edited because I forgot to use spell checker. :hangover:
