are the ones who make reasoned case and allow me my space. I agree. If someone lashes out at me I usually turn them off. You will find a great deal of differing opinions on DU and people are often skeptical of a poster with a low number of posts.

I think you are right - we do have a great deal in common. One point of advice, we can tolerate differing views and differing religious views, however, when someone states something as fact b/c it is from the Bible, I don't see it as a valid argument. I don't have a problem with a person's beliefs as long as they don't try to force them on others.

Gay people aren't trying to force others into Gay marriage - they are only fighting for the right to hold the same legal status as heterosexual couples.
