27. Well, yes and no...
They told the police at the scene that they were with "homeland security" - however, the detectives suspect that those guys may actually be from the SGVTA, but they aren't sure.

So, you are right - they may not have actually been from "homeland security" (aka DHS) - but wouldn't that mean they were impersonating federal officers? That is a major crime and I'm sure that the real DHS would be concerned about that!

So, maybe the DHS isn't involved, but maybe the SGVTA are getting funding from the DHS through some sort "anti-terrorism" program as claimed by the SGVTA? I bet that's it - the Erikkson guy is in on the scam - as is EVERYONE involved in the SGVTA.

Also notice how the "Chief of Police" John Leung retired the DAY AFTER this accident? Sounds to me like he was trying to distance himself from the scam as quickly as possible.
