The in-your-face governments in South America -- the lost "war" in Iraq -- the continuing chain of insulting Bin Laden tapes -- the criticism of U.S. policies in Europe -- the sale of port security to the UAE -- our ever increasing trade deficit -- and now our acquiescence to nuclear proliferation in Asia. Bush is leading the U.S. to oblivion. In just five years he took us from the superpower to a giant swaying on its feet and poised to topple sooner or later. How sad. It's one thing to face inevitable decline and changes in circumstances. It's quite another to hasten your own demise by misjudging every situation and gambling on the wrong horses over and over -- and that is what Bush has done.
