... the story in question was posted by someone young and naive (I am not implying that they necessarily go together) who encountered someone using food stamps (or whatever the hell the program is now called) that did not conform to their image of poverty.
This poster embellished the details of the story (a very human trait) in the telling of it ... it actually was a Ford Taurus, and it was an "Honor Role" bumper sticker from a school in an affluent area ...
OR
... the story in question was posted by an evil misanthrope ...
OR
...the story was true ...
As with the original assertions who the hell knows.
