One said the Wachowski brothers have written an awful script (and personally, I thought the Matrix scripts were awful as well), but didn't direct, which is what they're good at; instead their old assistant director directed, and he just isn't up to the job. The other (the BBC's film programme presenter) said he is a big comic/graphic novel fan, and gave it one of the worst reviews I've ever heard him give.
