The lawyer then showed a document from the Department of Defense which demonstrates that the use of electric shock was part of the interrogation techniques: the document, dated 18th August 2003, and obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, has a “wish list” and, at the end of the page, among the techniques being discussed, there is “low voltage electro-execution”. “We therefore have credible proof coming straight from the Government which demonstrates the use of electric shock”.
