63. Another reason not to signal_______________________
Road rage. 30 years as a licensed driver, more than 1,000,000 miles under my belt.

My observation? When in heavy traffic, many people will act aggressively when you signal your intent.

When I signal, I observe 1-3 incidences of road rage (attempted assault and intimidation with a motor vehicle)every day.

When I just take a slot, assertively and without signaling, it's over before it begins. That is, by the time asshole can stomp the accelerator to cut you off it's already a done deal.

That's called real world experience.

For trucks, buses and other professional drivers, I observe all courtesies. Assholes can eat the shoulder.
