"liberals are hoping for the worst in Iraq"

Have you heard this, some republicans say liberals and those on the left are hoping for the worst outcome in Iraq, a full scale civil war, which would cause Bush and the republicans in even deeper trouble than they already are in now over Iraq.

My response is no, I don't hope for the worst, but I expect the worst! There is a big difference between them. And the bloody happenings in Iraq that is in the news everyday doesn't help the republicans case. That is a reality that they seem to overlook and want to ignore.

Yea, sure, I would like the Iraq situation to resolve itself peacefully and they turn into a good Democracy but that is more than likely a pipe dream thought of by republicans.
