I ALWAYS use my signals, even if I "think" nowbody else is around. It has become habit. I have had my fair share of people decide they want to prevent me from changing lanes. I even had a cop do it to me! He was out of his county and was driving in the left lane under the limit. I passed him on the right and signaled a lane change to pass cars in the right lane. The idiot sped up as soon as he saw the signal. I got in before he could stop me and he gave me a blast from his siren. I flipped him off.
