13. Of these things I am cognizant. Point well taken.

But in the mystery of protective coloration, some things stand out.
I find it telling that the whacko-ist republican knows and demonstrates that he must soften his "crazy conservative" stance and start advocating some very democratic sounding positions in order to get re-elected. Hillary seems to think she needs to look more like McCain to retain her seat.

I find this inordinately offensive. Especially in her case, should she later decide to run for the presidency, no amount of camouflage or actual positioning is going to earn her any significant support from republicans: their visceral hatred is almost palpable.
Any republican hater who suddenly starts looking or sounding reasonable will earn my instant suspicion. I have been beaten up, before, because I trusted an untrustable, flying false colors.

I expect and, IMO, what is sorely needed in today's wounded, barely breathing America, is a clear stance, unmistakable, no apologies declaration of position, backed up by clear thinking and principles.

I do not want, nor will I support murky, humma, humma please elect me: I need a job, all things for all people crap that so undistinguishes many of our so-called leaders.
