If the same level of incompetence exists in our Military that is exhibited by FEMA, Medicare, No Child Left Behind, et alii, how safe are we? If 2 Billion Chinese all of a sudden decide they don't like us all that much, would we even stand a chance at defending ourselves? All they'd have to do is plan the invasion the day Chimpy goes to Crawford. Hell, they'd have at least a week head start before the mighty Nimrod even discovered he lost half his country. These guys like to talk tough but let's face it, Iraq WAS a slam-dunk.

The 11 year siege had damn near done the job for Bush. Because dissension was growing (helped in no small part by our resolution to overthrow Saddam), to maintain control Saddam chose to further brutalize and intimidate his people. Iraq was weak, it's people dispirited and emaciated from 11 years of hunger and poverty, it was hardly conquering Rome.

The only threat Iraq posed turned out to be imaginary. If Saddam had used WMD against our troops, the effect could have been devastating; considering the size of our invasion force. But fortunately, Bush knew he didn't have to worry about that. Saddam was left with a meager military and the Iraqi army dissolved under 6 months of intensive bombing and focused land attacks.

At the start of the war, these puketarded rat-turds coined the term Shock and Awe. The idea was that they were going to hit Iraq so hard, the entire country would be awe struck. But this propaganda campaign wasn't directed at the Iraqi people; they didn't need the TV to be shocked and awed. No, this Shock and Awe was aimed at the world. These puke-licking slime bags wanted the world to witness the terrifying fury of the benevolent American Empire. They wanted the world to stand slack-jawed in amazement and terror over the prospect of that sort of violence being delivered to their homes. Well, my guess is, most of the world leaders are standing slack-jawed in amazement, they must be amazed at how stupid we are for letting these incompetent idiots continue to protect us.

They also must wonder if we haven't proved a paper tiger incapable of mounting a cohesive defense against fourth generation tactics. Now, you may say... "Oh they'd see them coming long before they could hit us." And I'd say, "They saw Katrina coming long before it hit us." You might say, "Another country couldn't hide the force necessary to overthrow the U.S." I'd say, "Iraqi Insurgency, 9/11 and the Levee's." Let's hope someone in our government IS anticipating a breach in our defenses and hopefully has a plan. My guess is, Bush probably has never considered the possibility that someone may decide to wage a pre-emptive war against us.

You know, it's after thoughts like these that I really wish we had fair elections.
