When the Israelis Demolished the Iraqi Reactor

it was to universal condemnation by most of the rest of the world. Sovereign nations can build nuclear reactors, etc. Then, almost everyone in the Middle East who knew anything about anything thanked God for this action and went to sleep, knowing that that lunatic Saddam was not going to bed able to enrich uranium within a few months or years.

But oh boy, did the Israelis have to take a whole lotta crap publically about that. Now they want to rid the area of Hezbollah...and if they are successful, then many who are oppressed by this terrorist group will be thankful.

Now, I would venture to say that it is not going to be as clean or as remarkably successful as the action in Iraq, but we shall see whether it is historically appropriate.
